Jacalyn Deaton . Personal Testimony     "Choose your friends wisely."  Do those words of advice sound familiar?  You have heard those words frequently, and perhaps, have spoken them yourself.     I am evidence of the power of those very words, for I grew up in a home  that did not attend church.  My friends witnessed to me, brought me to youth  activities, and finally to church.     A sermon by Reverend Nathan Ridgeway about God's grace, love, and  acceptance taught me that God's love was extended to me, a thirteen year old girl.     Since that time, God has been continually active in my life.  God is  gracious and lovingly teaches us about His ways as we yield our lives to Him.   My Favorite Scripture Ephesians 2: 8 -10 For by grace ye have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
